The interdisciplinary shortfilm “Deutelei” interprets the discussion about determinism and free will on a contentual and visual layer and provides an alternative way of dealing with the debate apart from mere philosophy. The two positions are represented by 3D fractal animations on one hand and 2D type in motion on the other hand. Together both form an expressive and unique symbiosis.

About the directors:
Friedrich born in 1996 in Munich, finished his vocational training in Photography and started working as a web developer. Meanwhile, he studied Interactive Media at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg. His Focus went to 3D Animation and the realization of short films, concentrating on story development and the technical implementation of ideas. Apart from that, he is interested in Fine Art Photography. At the moment, he is in the Master's program in Interactive Media Systems at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg.
Till was born in 1995 in Freising and grew up in Augsburg. After his Abitur he began studying Interactive Media at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg, which he will finish in spring 2022. Apart from his studies he worked as a freelance Web Designer and since fall 2021 as a Motion Designer and Editor. His focus lies on Motion Picture, but he's also interested in photography and graphic design, which are a big influence in his work.
